The Imagine Circular Fashion Concept Store trialed a destination-based fashion retail experience, committed to circular economies and framed by the global concern for textile sustainability. We tackled the problems of fast fashion and textile waste by creating a space where small scale local manufacturing, prototyping and design could co-exist with retail and recycling.

Our Objectives
Supporting local designers and makers
Demonstrate how knitwear can be a pathway to advanced textile manufacturing
Build understanding of circular design practices through hands on programs
Building awareness and intention of new new business models

We Offered
Retail – a range of locally manufactured items for sale
Skills development – a range of targeted programs
Circular design educational activities – activities aimed at students
Targeted events – that showcase links to partners in the Arcade

We Delivered
SPECIAL CHRISTMAS WORKSHOP
GOODNESS WREATH - WEAVE YOUR WASTE - wreath making workshop
